Thigh High Boots

They were all over the runways at Fall 2009 Fashion Week. Thigh. High. Boots. My personal favorite? Rodarte! Their show was awesome! Metallics, pastels, and leather make for a futuristic chic theme. Absolutely gorgeous! And the thigh high boots just add to it! So tell me! Are you going to make this one of your staples this season?

Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down

Don’t you just hate Mondays? You have to wake up early and go back to school (or work). I usually don’t feel good on Mondays. I’m tired and sluggish. And let’s just say my image is definitely not up to par. I usually want to sleep in. But what I have found is that Mondays (or any other day for that matter) are a lot better when you put effort into the way you look. I always like to do something special. Getting lots of compliments is sure to make you feel a lot better! You could curl your hair (or straighten it), wear a new outfit, dress up a little bit, or even do your makeup differently! The better you look, the better you will feel. Now I know you don’t want to wake up early to do all that, I know I don’t, but it definitely pays off throughout the day! Good luck and Happy Monday! =)

Show Your Personality!

I am so sick of going to school and seeing the same old outfits! We might as well have a uniform at our school because girls wear the same thing every day! Skinny jeans, juicy jackets, and vans are great, but when you wear them every day, it becomes boring and unoriginal, especially when everyone else wears it too! And what’s worse is that these girls want to claim that they have amazing fashion sense! Oh yeah, because wearing the same thing every day in different colors totally makes you a fashionista. I just want to see some originality. If you wear a dress to school, you get looked at weird. If you wear casual heels, you get looked at weird. Basically, if you wear anything that shows your personality and style, you get looked at weird. I’m assuming that most high schools are like this. I wish that people would realize that it’s possible to show your personality through your outfits without looking like a crazy person who refuses to be normal. All you have to do is put a little effort into it and be creative!
